Allen frustrated with players lack of goal scoring

Fans of Oluyole Warriors witnessed another goalless draw at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan as Shooting Stars Sports Club hosted Gonbe United.

The showdown which many anticipated to be one in which the Ibadan side will use to climb the ladder of the league table saw they missing many scoring chances.
Coach of the side, Festus Allen who aired his mind after the game at the post match conference expressed optimism on his wards’ finding the net in their subsequent game against Niger Tornadoes in Minna this weekend.
“We created valuable and enough opportunities to win the game, especially in the second half, but just could not find the back of the net.
The players really fought hard but we could not translate it into victory either through spot kick or free kick.
Samuel Aaron and Owolabi Raheem failed to register goal today. Aaron had good chances in the first half while Owolabi hit the upright via Osagona cross. We are looking ahead to the next game hoping that they will produce more chances moving forward.” Allen said.
Other results on the night includes, Warri Wolves 1 – 0 ABS, Enugu Rangers 1 – 0 Wikki Tourists, Kwara United 1 – 0 Enyimba, Niger Tornadoes 3 – 0 Ocean Boys, Rising Stars 1 – 1 Kano Pillars.
